Pok Oi Hospital, a charitable organization founded in 1919, has been participating in several government-funded development projects aiming at providing quality medical, social and education services to the community. We have successfully launched Kong Ha Wai Transitional Housing project (Pok Oi Kong Ha Wai Village (博愛江夏圍村) providing 1,998 transitional housing units, by adopting MiC method, catered for the individuals and families awaiting public rental housing and households living in poor conditions. For Pok Oi Sing Ping Village Transitional Housing project (博愛昇平村過渡性房屋項目), 601 residential units of the Project will be ready for move-in at 2nd quarter of 2024 (earliest expected time). We now invite high calibre persons for the following posts for Pok Oi Sing Ping Village situated at Ping Che Road, Ta Kwu Ling, N.T
Responsibilities
- Lead the team to manage and oversee the Project
- Assess the eligibility of applicants
- Assist on-site service teams to organise and provide multi-disciplinary services to all age groups, ranging from children to the elderly residing in博愛昇平村who require social support services
- Participate in casework and render counselling services to identified residents
- Promote diversity and social inclusion by organizing events and programmes
- Establish a network in the region to foster collaboration among stakeholders
Requirements
- Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor degree or above in Social Work recognised by Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board for registration
- At least 3 year of post-qualification experience in social services
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with excellent command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken
- Possess a strategic mindset with good leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong PC skills in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
